Network cabling products

We offer a broadrange of cabling options, the most common being Cat 5e, Cat 6 and fibre-optic cabling.

Category 5e cabling
Category 5ecable, or Cat 5e as it is more commonly known, is a 'twisted pair' cable designed to deliver a high signal integrity that makes it an ideal and cost-effective solution for business data networks such as GigabitEthernet (1GB/s) and full digital voice services. A cabling infrastructure using Cat5e offers flexibility, the possibility of future expansion and a 'plug & play' option that allows PCs, printers, telephones, fax machines etc. to be relocated with ease by the client.

Category 6 cabling
Category 6cable, or Cat 6 as it is more commonly known, features higher specifications for interference and system noise than Cat5e and is ideal for the 10Gbase-T (10Gigabit Ethernet) standard.

Fibre-optic cable
There are two basic types of fibre-optic cable: single-mode and multi-mode. Single-mode cabling provides ultra high speed data transfer, ideal for large scale sites such as college campuses. Multi-mode cabling offers a high speed solution more suited to single site/multiple building data network infrastructures.
